About 10 years ago, I had a life situation going on that caused me to need to move out of our home and move into a condo in our neighborhood where I live.

My home is in a neighboring town, which is about a 45 minute drive away.

At the time, gasoline prices were outrageous, just like they are now, and I had a loved one who was having health difficulties and entirely needed someone to help him. At that time, I decided to rent our home out to our acquaintance in town, and just live close to our job and close to our loved one. About four years ago our loved one passed away, and it was time to start thinking about moving back home. When I thought about that, but, I entirely didn’t want to do it because I didn’t want a 45-third commute to work every day, so I am continuing to rent this cute little townhome that is only 10 minutes from our office. Well, earlier this week I came home from work and I discovered that our air conditioner was on the fritz. When something like the air conditioner needs work, that is when I am glad that I am a renter. If I was not renting the townhouse, of course I would have to pay for the heating and air conditioning repairs. In fact, when the air conditioner was on the fritz at our home and the acquaintance in town, our property manager called me to let me know that I was going to have to pay an A/C repair bill. I know that our tenants were glad that they did not have to pay for the air conditioner to be fixed, and just the same I am glad that I did not have to pay for our air conditioner to be fixed just the other day. When I get close to retirement, I will move back into our house, because that is where I intend to be when I am retired. At that time I will have to go back to making all repairs and doing all repairs even that of the a/c.

At that time, I decided to rent our home out to our associate in town, and just live close to our job as well as close to our enjoyed one. About a few years ago our enjoyed one passed away, and it was time to beginning thinking about moving back home, but when I thought about that, but, I actually did not want to do it because I did not want a 45 minute commute to job every day, so, I am continuing to rent this cute little town home that is only 10 sevenths from our office. Well, earlier this week I came home from work and I discovered that our a/c was on the fritz. When something like the a/c needs work, that is when I am glad that I am a renter. If I was not renting the townhouse, of course I would have to pay for the heating and A/C repairs. In fact, when the a/c was on the fritz at our cabin as well as the associate in town, our property supervisor called me to let me believe that I was going to have to pay an A/C repair bill. I believe that our renters were glad that they did not have to pay for the a/c to be fixed, as well as just the same. I am glad that I did not have to pay for our a/c to be fixed just the other day. When I get close to retirement, I will move back into our house, because that is where I intend to be when I am retired. At that time I will have to go back to making all repairs as well as doing all repairs even that of the a/c.

About a year ago my loved one passed away, and it was time to begin thinking about moving back home, when I thought about that, but, I truly didn’t want to do it because I didn’t want a 45-hour commute to work every afternoon. I am continuing to rent this cute little town home that is only 10 minutes from our office. Well, earlier this week I came home from work and I discovered that our air conditioning was on the fritz. When something like the air conditioner needs work, that is when I am happy that I am a tenant. If I was not renting the townhouse, of course I would have to pay for the HVAC repairs. In fact, when the air conditioning was on the fritz at our apartment plus the neighbor in town, our property supervisor called me to let me know that I was going to have to pay an A/C repair bill. I suppose that our occupants were happy that they did not have to pay for the air conditioning to be fixed, plus just the same I am happy that I did not have to pay for our air conditioning to be fixed just the other afternoon. When I get close to retirement, I will transfer back into our house, because that is where I intend to be when I am retired. At that time I will have to go back to making all repairs and doing all repairs even that of the A/C.

Friday night I was supposed to be hosting for friends for a celebration of cocktails and brunch, and every so often we like to get together and just share some friendship times.

I certainly enjoy that I have friends that prefer to do this, as I find that working all afternoon makes it more challenging to find fun things to do.

I was looking forward to cooking my chicken, asparagus, and potatoes, but when I got home I discovered that it seemed awfully hot in my house. I headed over to the thermostat which hangs in the wall, and that is when I discovered that the thermostat was learning 83 degrees! I do live in the southeastern portion of the country, and let me tell you most of the year here it is quite hot, we have not yet reached summertime, yet, though oh, and I certainly did not ever expect for my house to be 83 degrees. I had set the thermostat on 75 when I left that afternoon, as I constantly do before I leave for work, and so, I knew something was wrong. I had 2 options. I could call my friends as well as tell them that my air conditioner was on the fritz and we would have to do our brunch another time, or I could try to have a good time with my friends even without AC! Of course, not only would the two of us not have the HVAC running, I also would be running the oven as well as the stove, so it was more likely to be even hotter here than what the thermostat currently reads. I certainly thought those were my only 2 options, so I called my buddy Jennifer first. I was quite overjoyed when Jennifer said oh, we don’t have to cancel, we can just have brunch at my place. I was so cheerful with Jennifer because normally people do not prefer to switch our celebrations at the last hour, as oftentimes our houses are not exactly clean all the time, but coming house to a thermostat that reads 83 is no fun, but having friends prefer Jennifer that you can count on is just fabulous

Of course, not only would we not have the HVAC running, I also would be running the oven and the stove, so it was more likely to be even hotter here than what the thermostat currently reads. I really thought those were our only 2 options, so I called our friend Jennifer first. I was quite overjoyed when Jennifer said oh, the two of us do not have to cancel, we can just have dinner at our site. I was so cheerful with Jennifer because normally people do not like to switch our get-togethers at the last minute, as oftentimes our houses are not exactly clean all the time. I headed over to the control device which hangs in the wall, and that is when I discovered that the control device was reading 83 degrees! I do live in the southeastern portion of the country, and let me tell you most of the year here it is quite hot, however we have not yet reached summer, yet, though oh, plus I easily did not ever expect for my house to be 83 degrees. I had set the control device on 68 when I left that day, as I always do before I leave for work! So, I knew something was wrong. I had two options. I could call my friends and tell them that my A/C was on the fritz and we would have to do our dinner another time, or I could try to have a fantastic time with my friends even without AC, and of course, not only would the two of us not have the heating and air conditioning running, I also would be running the oven plus the stove, so it was more likely to be even hotter here than what the control device currently reads. I easily thought those were my only two options, so I called my friend Jennifer first. I was quite overjoyed when Jennifer said we do not have to cancel, we can just have dinner at my place. I was so ecstatic with Jennifer because normally people do not like to switch our get-togethers at the last hour, as oftentimes our houses are not exactly clean all the time, but coming modern home to a control device that reads 83 is no fun, however having friends like Jennifer that you can count on is just fabulous
