I have a bit of a taxing time making long term decisions. I don’t know how people can feel how they’ll feel in five, ten, or fifty years. It makes no sense to me that they can plan ahead accordingly, when life will consistently throw curveballs you can’t anticipate. That’s why it’s a little taxing for me to commit to things. Right now, for instance, I can’t make up my mind about whether to have my seasoned furnace repaired or replaced. I know that sounds like a minor consideration, but there are several ramifications of my decision either way! You see, the seasoned furnace is on its last leg. Every few weeks it has a major failure, and I’m consistently calling the Heating and Air Conditioning repair company out to my property. At this point they know my name and have my billing information on file for their repeat visits. I know I can’t continue to pay them for emergency visits and hourly toil rates, despite the fact that I also don’t know if I’m ready to commit to a brand new boiler.
