My husband and I decided to move across the world to live in a different country.

We’d visited this country before in the past and we really enjoyed the culture, so when a job opportunity presented itself we jumped at the opportunity.

While searching for an apartment, we knew that we needed something with a good HVAC system and something to purify the air. Air pollution was a major problem in the city we were moving to, along with the hot and humid temperatures during the summer. When we found an apartment that we were really interested in, we were told that there was heat and air, but it was through a ductless mini split unit. Unlike where we lived before, ductless mini split units were the main source of heat and air for apartments in our new city. Central HVAC systems were almost non-existent and would be impossible to find according to our realtor. We were hesitant about the ductless mini split units because we didn’t know how well they’d heat and cool our space. We thought they’d be inconsistent and the temperature would only be changed for the air directly surrounding the ductless unit. Upon moving in though, we realized the ductless system was wonderful. The entire apartment was heated and cooled efficiently and evenly. They didn’t make a lot of noise and they were practically invisible after living with them for some time. I’m glad we didn’t miss out on this apartment because of the ductless mini split units.

We’ll never forget the first week in this house.

As we were expected to move in, the weather was dreadful. There were high winds and nonstop rain, but that didn’t keep us from moving into our new home. As we were sleeping on a mattress on the floor that first night, I woke up to the sound of something dripping. I immediately thought it was the rain outside hitting the gutters. Although it was irritating, I forced myself to block out the noise and go back to sleep. The same thing happened the second night, but this time, I realized it wasn’t raining. In my dreary state, I assumed there was still rain in the gutters from the rain that day and it was dripping out again. However, when I heard the noise the following morning, I knew something needed to be addressed. I walked around the house trying to discover where the noise was coming from and I finally found it. It wasn’t rain hitting the gutter, it was our AC system making a clicking noise! This was far worse than a rain and gutter situation, but I knew it could be fixed if I called the right people. I found a local HVAC company and asked them to come fix the clicking noise our AC system was making. After running some tests, the HVAC company discovered that our thermostat was failing, which was causing the AC system to click constantly as it turned on and off again. With a new thermostat, our AC system would stop clicking.

Yvonne freaked out when she found out she was going to have triplets.

Yvonne and her husband had been trying to have a baby for five years.

Her husband was over the moon, but Yvie was concerned that she would be able to take care of three babies. Her other concern was that they had used a chunk of their savings on HVAC installation. They did not go for any regular new air conditioning system, they wanted the best the cooling corporation had to offer, and their cooling specialist did not disappoint. The upfront cost the a/c worker quoted for the ductless mini-split was very high, but they had been dreaming of a ductless electric heat pump to help with indoor comfort for years. On the other hand, I would be holding on to my quality HVAC for a while longer. The unit would serve me for years to come with regular air conditioning tune-up by the local indoor comfort business company. Yvie’s baby shower was coming up, and I still had no idea what I would get her as a gift. I knew what the rest of our friends would be getting her, and they had most things covered. Two weeks before the baby shower, I was having a conversation with an a/c professional, and from that conversation, I realized that getting her digital thermostat would be a great gift. I would also pay for their air conditioning service. They may have gotten the best out of heating technology, but they had left out that gadget for later, and with the turn of events, I was sure they had removed it from their priority list.

At nine in the evening, the five of us were present for the zoom family meeting; my parents and two brothers.

Our parents announced they wanted to start a bed and breakfast place, and the meeting took a turn. It took us all by surprise, but if that meant they would not sell the house, we were all on board. They told us everything they planned to do to make the necessary changes. They had everything covered apart from the HVAC installation. The current unit, even though it was a quality HVAC, was old, and they needed to upgrade it. It had served them for more than fifteen years because they never failed when it came to regular air conditioning service to help with indoor comfort. It was good that one of my brothers, a/c professional, had replaced the old regulator with a digital thermostat in the past year. The meeting became a discussion about the new air conditioning system that would best suit their new venture. My father had insisted that Keith, my brother, take care of installing the electric heat pump. Still, since he lives far from them, he advised them to call the local indoor comfort business so that a cooling specialist could go to their home and give the correct quotation and tell them the number of ductless mini-split units that they needed. He promised them they would not have to call the cooling corporation for the first air conditioning tune-up; he would be the first a/c worker to service it.

Why are both of us so scared of rejection? I see this pretty lady almost every day as I come plus go from my flat however have this fear of talking to her because I am afraid she will reject me. But if I say nothing then I believe that it will haunt myself and others plus make myself and others into a more bitter person because I believe that my fears are stronger than me. So I have to get the nerve to say something without sounding care about a nervous fool. What do you suggest? Just go up plus talk to her, right? The Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C company where she works is situated a couple doors from my flat plus I see her sitting outside on the curb with her friend each day. I did get the nerve to say hi to her the other day plus she responded with a cheerful hello plus a large smile. Maybe I’ll go to the store plus buy a HEPA filter or something for my Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C program that I don’t genuinely need. I believe I just overthink things too much plus it leads to a type of paralysis in action. My mom calls it analysis paralysis when you believe about something too much plus allow it to conquer you. I’ll go to that Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C company this week plus talk to the pretty lady plus see what happens. I believe I’ll just ask her if she wants to be friends plus not beat around the bush. It’s exactly what I would have done when I was a 5 year old boy, so why is it so taxing to do now?

My hubby has been toiling 16hour afternoons plus there is nothing that he can do about it right now.

He works as an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C professional plus the company has been receiving a big number of service calls plus they are having a taxing time keeping up with all of them.

There are some customers who must wait between 48 to 74 hours before they can have their air conditioning system component diagnosed. He works with commercial Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C systems plus most of the calls that they are receiving are from units that are chopping down unexpectedly. His company is giving priority to companies plus organizations that are considered top priority. For instance, a nursing lake condo will be diagnosed faster than a diner. With the high un-even temperatures that both of us have been receiving, the patients in the nursing homes need to have air conditioning to remain comfortable. Yesterday, he had 2 service calls at 2 different nursing homes, so those calls took priority over other calls that came in. He also had a college plus he needed to get to them as well. So, due to all of these Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C systems malfunctioning, he’s having to work the extra hours to cover all the service calls. Furthermore, it doesn’t help that his company is currently understaffed, so that further adds to the issue, and my hubby has been doing this for about 15 years plus he’s a single of the senior professionals at his company. This means that in between all these hours, he is used as a source for information for the other Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C professionals. He has a lot on his plate right now. I just hope things will get better soon.

So that is our motivational speech for you today & I hope I’m not sounding too preachy

I see many people afraid to live & also afraid to die. They’re trapped in this episodic same seasoned same seasoned way of residing where they aren’t growing or changing because of fear. I guess a lot of people residing this way will have regrets in the end & I choose to challenge myself & push our boundaries so I won’t have lived a life of regrets from things undone or unsaid. I took the opportunity & got our Heating, Ventilation plus A/C certification & worked in the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C industry for many years, & was successful in it because I took that chance. I’ve let many openings pass me by, never to come around again, & I am not going to let others pass me by separate from taking a chance. I wouldn’t have met our appealing lady, who I passed by on the street by our flat many times, if I hadn’t taken the opportunity & talked to her. I labor now at the local supplier near our home & am grateful for it & that I took the opportunity & walked into the locale to try & get a job there. Life is full of openings if you open your eyes & if you have the courage to act on them, otherwise you will grow seasoned & bitter for letting fear bully you around. So that is our motivational speech for you today & I hope I’m not sounding too preachy. I suppose I’ll scrub our Heating, Ventilation plus A/C idea today & then take a slow leisurely ride along the coast & suppose about taking those chances.
