He could hear some humming coming from the air duct

If he had bees in the ductwork, the entire building would have bees in the ductwork

Being the superintendent of a big house building, Kennedy gets a lot of strange service calls. Last week, some of the apartment dwellers called and told him they heard bees in their ductwork. Kennedy had never heard of such a thing, so instead of telling them they were nuts, he went up to their apartment. He could hear some humming coming from the ductwork, but he could not hear bees. They told him to get closer to the air vent, and Kennedy would hear what he was talking about. He put his ear to the air vent and he listened closely. There was a hum and he could faintly hear a noise that could be a buzz. The longer he listened, the more he heard the noise he was hearing. Kennedy started knocking on the walls, but that made no difference in the sound. He thought that if bees could have gotten into the ductwork, knocking would make the noise louder, or send a stray bee out of the air vent. He called the Heating, Ventilation and A/C corporation, and they said they would come over the next morning. In the meantime, Kennedy was going to cover the air vents. If he had bees in the ductwork, the entire building would have bees in the ductwork. He told the occupants the Heating, Ventilation and A/C tech would be there in the morning, and everything would be taken care of then. On his way out of their apartment, Kennedy heard some strange noises coming from the house next door. The owners had a toy for the dog that was a buzzing and jumping ball, and it was vibrating through the air vents.

a/c care

she knew they didn’t have a loss of heat

Last week, we called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company because it was always freezing in our house.

We told him we thought there was something wrong with the oil furnace.

We had recently replaced all the windows and had put insulation around the windows and doors, so we knew we didn’t have a loss of heat. We were sure there had to be something wrong with the oil furnace. We had a Heating, Ventilation and A/C serviceman to the home a month earlier, and he told us the oil furnace is on its last leg. He told us he could get it working for another month, but that was it. We needed to discuss what oil furnace we wanted to replace this one, and made the call. Here we were, less than a month later, and the oil furnace was no longer working. We told the Heating, Ventilation and A/C serviceman about the man and asked if he was available. He told us he had moved on to another Heating, Ventilation and A/C company and asked if he could look at the oil furnace. Once he looked at the oil furnace, he could make a better recommendation of the system we may need. When he came upstairs, he looked at both of us and asked if we were sure we needed a modern oil furnace? We told him what the Heating, Ventilation and A/C serviceman had told us and asked if there was a problem. He walked outside, and we heard him making a call. When he came back inside, he said another Heating, Ventilation and A/C serviceman would be there soon. The owner of the Heating, Ventilation and A/C company showed up and had us look at a picture. It was the Heating, Ventilation and A/C serviceman who said we needed a modern oil furnace. He thanked us, and walked outside with his phone in hand.

electric furnace

She had heating and AC work to do the next day

Ciara knew she shouldn’t have done it, but Kelly had been working on the church’s Heating, Ventilation and A/C system well into the night, and he was weary.

So she called Steve to see if he could help repair the furnace.

Ciara knew Steve wasn’t a Heating, Ventilation and A/C serviceman, but she knew he was handy. She thought he could hand tools to her hubby, or provide him an extra hand if needed. If nothing else, Steve could help keep Kelly awake. When he showed up, he brought five packs of beer with him, and he instantly opened one for himself, and one for Kelly. He told Steve he had to repair the furnace, and he didn’t want to drink, but Steve didn’t think one beer would make a pressing difference. Kelly looked at Ciara and raised an eyebrow. She shook her head no, and he handed the beer to her. Ciara dumped it in the sink, which had Steve irritated. He said he paid money for that beer, and if she was just going to throw it away, he would have drunk it. Kelly tried to explain that he didn’t love to drink when he had to work the next day. He was working on the furnace, and it upset him because he could do more damage if he was drinking. Steve said that was an honorable answer, and asked if we minded if he had a couple more. Ciara was monitoring every beer he drank, and he was weary of her nagging.

Her letters and numbers were jumbled

Daisy has dyslexia which doesn’t make her stupid, but it is a reading disability. Some people believe that dyslexia makes you stupid, but those people knew nothing about Einstein, or several other geniuses who have dyslexia. Last week, she proved to people that she wasn’t as stupid as they thought she was. Daisy was still having a hard time reading and doing math, but it was because her letters and numbers were jumbled. When she told the mentor at the Heating and A/C school about her dyslexia, she shook her hand and told Daisy welcome to the group. She said she had a horrible time with her dyslexia, and if it hadn’t been for a mentor who recognized her disability, she wouldn’t have gone to Heating and A/C school. She asked her if she had an easier time if they gave her verbal tests instead of written tests. Most of her mentors didn’t enjoy doing that. They just wanted to push her on to the next grade. She told her that whenever there were tests, she would deliver her an oral exam. She also sent her kid home and helped her study. Her kid also had dyslexia. She said they understood what Daisy was going through. She didn’t believe she could ever thank the mentor and her son, until she joined their Heating and A/C corporation right out of school. Without the Heating and A/C mentor and her son, Daisy wouldn’t be where she is now. She owns one of the biggest Heating and A/C companies in their state, and her kid is in line to take over when she retires in a couple of years.

ventilation

They had to sleep in her room for the night

When we heard our kids scream, we knew there was something terribly wrong. She pointed to the air vent and kept saying spiders. We opened the air vent cover while she calmed down, and we saw nothing. We started putting the air vent cover back on when we saw a giant spider crawling through. We immediately knew what was happening. We called our kids and told them they had to get to their sister’s room. We pointed to the spider coming out of the air vent and asked if they had put it there. They said it wasn’t one that would bite, and she didn’t believe it would hurt anything. We told them their sister was petrified of the spider, and it was still inside the air vent. They brought her spider cage to her room and carefully pulled the spider from the air vent and put it in her cage. We made them apologize to their sister, and they had to sleep in her room for the night. The next day, they released the spider back into the garden. They weren’t delighted because we made them release the spider, but they understood. We told them if we had called the Heating and A/C corporation and the exterminator, they would have been paying both bills. We are hoping they have learned their lesson, but if they are anything like we were, we’ve got a feeling this was just the start of the pranks. We just hope our kids and the Heating and A/C system are going to survive them all. We’re not sure we will.

She phoned the HVAC company

She walked outside, and they heard him on the phone.

Last week, Amanda phoned the Heating and A/C corporation because it was always chilly in their house. She told them she thought there was something wrong with the oil furnace.
