The air was so cold and crisp and perfect.

Today was my kind of day because I was able to go outside for a while. I have been working from home for 5 years now and it seems like I just don’t go outside as much as I used to. This was amplified when covid hit and I felt more isolated than ever. However, now I’m starting to go outside more and I’m finding that I really enjoy it. While I love having an excellent air conditioning system that has done nothing but good things for me I have found that I’ve been craving some good real fresh air. I went outside and decided to have some fun with my kids. My wife and I took them to the park and spent the entire day eating lunch, playing games, and pushing them on the swing. After a long day of doing all that we lied down on the grass and watched the stars. It was such a wonderful feeling. I got to see it all, the clear blue sky during the day with the gentle puffy clouds, then the sunset when it started to get late, and finally the night sky. The air was so cold and crisp and perfect. I wish there was a way that they could take the air from outside and bring it indoors, no air conditioning system in my opinion can match the quality of nature. I do love that I have the ability to work from home and I’m really grateful for what I have but man it was great to get out for a while. In a way now that I’ve been outside I’m not looking forward to going back into my air conditioned home. But I think what I’ll do is I’ll just make sure I take more trips outside and take breaks.

I work as a heating and AC technician and yesterday I had a very scary moment.

I take my job very seriously and yesterday I was several hours late for my job.

It was not something I was proud of. I felt ashamed to be so late. The way it happened was the night before I couldn’t get any sleep, I’m not sure exactly how it happened but I was just lying in bed all night unable to get any rest at all. I couldn’t get my brain to shut down, I had a million thoughts buzzing through my head at the time. Finally, only a few hours before it was time for me to go and get up to go to work and service people’s heating and air conditioning systems I had finally fallen asleep. The moment I closed my eyes it felt like minutes had passed but it was actually several hours. I woke up to see that it was 11:00 a.m. and I had a couple of missed calls from my job. I felt so terrible. I took my job very seriously and I was supposed to be there 3 hours ago at 8:00 am! I had my alarm on my phone and on my alarm clock set but I guess I was just so tired that I slept right through it. Sometimes I can sleep through almost anything it seems. I’m just a deep sleeper when I get really tired so I had to set my alarm extra loud to wake me up after I came home from work that day. Luckily I didn’t get in any trouble or anything since it was my first offense and I have a good standing with my boss, but I was careful not to let it happen again and I was able to go and work on people’s heating and AC units like I normally do without issue.

I’m really looking forward to installing my own thermostat.

I’ve never done it before but I’m more than confident that I can do it.

It’s a long story as to how I got this way, but eventually I just wanted to start doing things for myself. I used to have a partner that wasn’t who I thought he was. When we first met everything was roses and sunshine but it didn’t take long before I quickly saw his true colors. He was controlling and emotionally abusive and he was very sinister in the way he did things because he was able to convince me that I couldn’t do things on my own and that I was dependent on him for everything. It really took me a long time to come out of the fog and realize all the lies that I had been led to believe were true. One of the first things I started to do when I got out of that relationship was start doing things for myself. It didn’t take me long to figure out that I was not this stupid person that he made me out to be and that I was more than capable of getting my own stuff done. He would do everything for me when I was in the relationship so in this way I would be made helpless and relying on him for everything. And now I’ve been doing things for myself for a while and it’s been feeling great. I’m going to be putting in my own thermostat that I just bought on my own. It’s very easy to do there’s tons of DIY tutorials on how to install your own smart thermostat. I’m confident that I can do it. I’ve done many other home improvement projects on my own without his help around the house and I’m going to continue to do more.

I decided that I was going to get a portable air conditioning system to help keep my house cool. I live in a climate where it can get pretty hot, and it’s always hot year round but in the summer months it’s absolutely brutal, and so because of this I wanted to get an air conditioning system that’ll help keep my house cool without me having to run my central AC system all the time. I have to run my central air conditioning system all the time. My cooling costs quickly add up and I’m hoping to avoid this by getting another air conditioning system. I decided to start going to the local store where I would visit a small heating AC business near my house. This heating and cooling business is really tiny and it’s just like a little Mom and Pop shop but it’s really cute and a couple that owns the store is super friendly and I would love to help them out by giving him some business, plus I’m looking for a nice air conditioning system anyways and they always have excellent heating and AC products and stock. When I went there I just found that I couldn’t make up my mind between two different air conditioning systems. The two that I was trying to decide between were the ductless mini split air conditioning system and the window air conditioning system. The window air conditioning system was cheaper, however the ductless mini split air conditioning system had more features and would probably cool my house a bit better. Then I thought of a third idea, should I buy a couple of window air conditioning systems to make up for one ductless mini split air conditioning system? Or maybe I should go and just buy multiple window air conditioner air systems anyways because then I can have them in different rooms of the house and cool the house that way? Decisions to make. After standing there for probably an hour and seeing multiple customers come and go I ultimately decided I was going to go in between and take the third plan. I was going to buy a couple of window air conditioning systems and set them in different rooms in my home.

You know after looking for the correct heating system for me for a couple of months now and doing countless hours of research, I think I found the right one for me. I think I’m going to go and purchase an electric furnace. I have compared many other types of heating systems that I have found that I think I like. Your furnace would be a type of heating system that would be the best option for my home. The other heating system I considered but I’m not going to go with is an oil furnace, a gas furnace, a space heater, and I even considered a hot water boiler. However all these don’t seem like they would work for my situation so I’ve decided that an electric furnace would be the best option for me. I have spent a good amount of time saving up to have this new system installed and I can’t wait until the day arrives when it’s my turn to have my heating system officially installed by the heating and AC business. My local heating business is full of some of the nicest heating and air conditioning technicians that I’ve ever met, and the cooling professional that’s going to be coming out to service my heating system if somebody already knows and he’s a great guy. I know with confidence that he will perform the installation correctly. After trying to find the correct heating system for so long though it feels great, I finally have one picked out and on its way from me.

My heating and cooling has been giving me issues lately.

This is just because my heating and air conditioning system is old and I’m not sure how much longer is going to last. Well I’ve had some issues with my heater. The main culprit is the same thing as my air conditioning system. I don’t know what it is with my air conditioning unit but I’ve had nothing but issues with it from day one. This is because in the beginning I didn’t take good care of it. I think that contributed to part of the issues. The thing that doesn’t make any sense to me is that I have always tried to do my best to take care of my heat and AC system to what I thought I was supposed to be doing, but I realized I was doing a lot of things wrong by not having my heating and air conditioning system regularly service by the heating and cooling professionals. However, despite my lack of care for my heating and AC system I don’t think it’s entirely my fault. The reason for this is because my air conditioning system is fairly new and yet I’ve been having problems with it from the very start. I never will forget the first time I had it installed and only a month after I had it it broke down on me! I was so surprised when I had to call a heating and AC business to have them come out and perform a repair. I just didn’t expect it at all. Once I save up a little bit more money, I’m going to get a new air conditioning system and that is something that I can’t wait to have.

Believe it or not your indoor air quality can actually make you sick if you have really bad quality indoor air, so taking care of your heating and AC system is important for multiple reasons

Today’s lesson for my son is how to take care of your heating and air conditioning system. My son is 16 now and he’s becoming more and more independent. I’m really proud of him because I can see him blossoming into a wonderful young man. I’m really excited for his future and I’m proud of how he’s doing so far. He’s been asking me a lot of questions lately about how to do certain things, he wants to know so that when he does move out he knows how to take care of different things around the house. He knows all the basics of course, but believe it or not he didn’t know how to change the heating and air conditioning system filter! This surprised me because I thought his father had taught him but I guess not. So the task was up to me so I showed him how I changed out the filter and I explained the importance of why you should change your air filter frequently because if you don’t change out your air filter frequently then it’s going to collect dust and dirt and become clogged and that could impact your indoor air quality. Believe it or not your indoor air quality can actually make you sick if you have really bad quality indoor air, so taking care of your heating and AC system is important for multiple reasons. He’s such a fast learner too because when I showed him how to change the air filter and how to schedule appointments with heating and AC businesses and how you should take care of your HVAC system he picked it all up very quickly. He feels confident now that he could change the air filter and schedule a heating and AC appointment all by himself.
