After using disposable air filters for what seems like forever now I have to have finally decided that it’s time for me to switch to something that I think is going to be far more effective.

I decided to switch from the disposable air filters to HEPA filters.

The reason for the switch is I want something that is going to be far better at getting rid of all the microscopic particles that might be in the air and causing me to become sick, however unluckily I have suffered from dust sensitivities for most of my life and so I have a sensitivity to bad indoor air quality. I have also decided that now is the time for me to take control of my indoor air quality and get an air filter that is going to do the job and do it properly. I went down to the local heating and AC store yesterday and started looking at all their different air filters, while I was there I wanted to take a look at all the different kinds of air filters that they actually had available to see if there was any other possibilities that I would be willing to consider apart from the HEPA filter. There was one and that was a washable air filter, I didn’t even know there was such a thing as washable air filter but it was good to know that they were there because I might eventually consider giving them a try. I picked up two different HEPA filters and I got ready to use them for the first time. I officially installed the first one the other day and I’m waiting to see how it continues to do, and already after only one day I have seen a significant difference in my indoor air quality and so I’m particularly cheerful with how it’s performing so far.

I cannot wait to provide my current space boiler a try.

I’m looking for a way to heat my house without having to spend so much money on heating and a/c bills.

The winter here consistently gets entirely cold and I’m sleepy from constantly having to run my gas boiler. It seems like every time I turn on the gas boiler my prices for my heating and a/c skyrocket. I have had enough of it. I’m stuck looking for a way to still keep myself warm but without spending so much money on my energy bills. The way that I figure that I can do this is straight-forward, I’m going to use a portable space boiler instead of the gas boiler. I have been doing a lot of research in different heating and a/c devices and after looking into all the possibilities I have made the decision that getting a portable space boiler would be the right decision for me. I just went down to the heating and AC store yesterday and picked one up while I was away… Now I have come home and I’m excited about the space boiler for the first time. I have my fingers crossed that I’m hoping that all goes well, if things go to plan then it will successfully heat up the room and keep me nice and warm and I won’t have to run my boiler any more this winter. So I haven’t tried it yet but from all the research I have done, everybody that has used this model of space boiler that I purchased has given excellent feedback, so I have high expectations for it.

When I first reached out and decided to get a window a/c system I wasn’t sure about it.

I had only recently had problems with my central a/c system and the last thing I wanted to do is have to worry about another a/c unit.

However, I decided that if I didn’t want to burn up in the summertime heat that I was going to need some kind of way to keep myself cool, but so it’s for this reason I went ahead and decided to get a window AC unit. I’m entirely cheerful that I did too because I now know that I would not have been able to survive the heat without it. That same day my friend and I had one of the worst heat waves that came in years, and because I was completely unable to use my central a/c system until the heating and cooling woman would be able to come out here and work on it, I desperately needed another source of cooling; then for me that other source of cooling was the window a/c unit. From the moment I went to turn it on I was skeptical about how well it’ll work for me, however I knew it would be good to go ahead and give it a try. So I provided the window AC machine a try and I was amazed to find that it blew out so much cool air. It cooled down the entire room almost right away. I was surprised by how well it did. With the window a/c system running I was able to cherish being inside of my condo and not have to worry about the heat from outside coming and making me sizzling and hot. I’m also keeping this window a/c system and I won’t be doubting it again.

When I got a window a/c system for the first time, I wasn’t sure how good it was going to do, but I had to admit that I was skeptical about the window a/c system because I knew that they were not as good as a central a/c unit.

It was for this reason that I was somewhat unhappy that I was going to have to use a window a/c system.

I was simply going to have to use a window air conditioner so some of my central AC system was waiting to be repaired… Even though I entirely didn’t want to have to deal with the window a/c system I knew that if I didn’t use the window AC after that I would not have anything to keep me cool and that just was not an option considering that I was in the sizzling summer time months of the previous year. It was for this reason I decided to go ahead and option up a window a/c machine for my local heating and AC business. I finally picked it up and I was reluctant to even turn it on, I just wanted my central AC system to work, however when I turned it on I didn’t have particularly high expectations for it… I just figured that it would cool down the room a little bit and that would be the end of it, then however I was entirely wrong, I noticed that as soon as I turned the window a/c system on within 5 minutes the entire room had cooled down significantly… The whole condo felt more cool and comfortable and I was no longer sizzling and sizzling from the heat. I was also really amazed that something as small as a window a/c system could do such a thing. It worked far better than I had ever expected and exceeded my expectations. I was originally just going to buy it once and then return it but now I’m going to keep it even after my central AC machine is fixed.

So I don’t live the most exciting life.

To be honest, that’s just quite fine with me.

These days, I’m pretty fond of getting up, getting some coffee and grabbing a muffin or something as I head out the door. Then, it’s like 10 hours inside the commercial HVAC of my office. My work is something of a passion so it’s not like I have to force myself to do my job. The 10 or more hours a day I spend at work often fly by because I’m so into what I’m doing. After that, it’s home to the central air conditioning of my house. Normally, I like to change clothes right away and then slip out of the air conditioning again. Taking a walk or a bike ride after working all day is the sort of thing that has many benefits. For one, I sort of clear my head and enjoy getting to listen to music while I’m walking or riding a trail. I love music and getting to do this each day is such a lovely part of my every day. Then, it’s back inside the air conditioning for some chores and then fixing a healthy dinner. This routine gets replayed pretty much all the time. The only difference is the weekend when I might get together with friends. But mostly, I’m simply a homebody now. So I really make my heating and cooling comfort a priority. I once thought that this sort of life was the height of all things lame. Yet, now that I’m sort of over being so busy all of the time, I like being at home inside the quality heating and air of my house. This is why I have the very latest in residential HVAC and HVAC technology in my home.

At least I’ve done all I can so when it comes to being prepared for the Summer and all the air conditioning that’s about to happen.

It’s still just so wonderful outside as we work our way into May.

But that’s the end of all the nice, Spring weather for sure. Every day that’s not hot and humid is sort of a bonus round situation when you live where I do. In a few weeks, the full weight of Summer heat and humidity will be upon us. The days of waking up with the windows open and the nice breezes and highs in the low 80’s are almost over. But while I’ll miss that weather and will have four months of grinding through the heat of Summer, I’m at least prepared. The air conditioning tune up is done as the HVAC professionals came out the first week of March for that. The house is ready as I’ve replaced all the weather stripping to ensure a good seal on the house. Having a tight house is another way of adding efficiency to the HVAC equipment. And I’m getting in the habit of pulling the shades each morning before I head off to work. These are all really important parts of any strategy aimed at reducing air conditioning costs. But when the HVAC technician came to do the HVAC maintenance, he brought with him an additional tool to help with saving on cooling costs. I had a smart thermostat added to the HVAC equipment. It’s been here a couple of months. And while the air conditioning has been just left on yet, I think this HVAC technology has had time to learn our patterns. So I’m excited to enjoy the convenience of not having to be a thermostat hawk all Summer while saving perhaps an additional 15 percent or more.
