I have a foggy brain! Well, not really, But, I always seem to forget crucial things. One way I’ve tried to overcome this issue is to keep a detailed calendar on my phone. I believe having a calendar on my phone has been a lifesaver when it comes to labor plus my relationships. I once forgot my favorite cousin’s anniversary, plus she didn’t speak to me for two months. My associate and I are the best of friends so that was an eye opener. I now not only have her anniversary on my calendar, however also other special afternoons so I don’t miss any of them. The calendar is also where I have all my notes for work, plus all projects I’m toiling on. So far, I’ve not missed any deadlines or forgotten tasks that I have to do each afternoon. So, imagine my shock when this past Springtime I forgot to add A/C service to my calendar. This is one of those tasks that I never want to skip knowing the heat plus humidity that comes with summer. But, it completely slipped my mind, plus I never had A/C service on my calendar. Come summer, I woke up one afternoon on my off afternoon soaking wet because my A/C was off. At first, I thought my friend and I didn’t have any electricity, however the issue was the cooling system. I had to contact an Heating & A/C company for same-day repair, however they could only fit me in for later in the afternoon. My cabin was getting warmer with every passing hour. I didn’t have a portable A/C plus stayed miserable until I had my A/C fixed.

Work has been great, plus I must admit I made the best decision relocating.

I was born plus raised in the north, plus that’s where I thought I’d live forever, however a buddy of mine also thought the same, however she relocated after landing an amazing task.

Now, she lives on the east coast plus is thriving. When I saw how change was helping her make advances in her life, I started to know about also making a change. As I thought about potential locations I could call home, they all seemed to be far away from the frigid winters! One application was a success, plus I got a task that helped me transport to the south. The weather here is amazing, plus I don’t mind the heat at all. After two years on the task, I began hunting for a condo instead of paying rent for an apartment… My condo is now in a beautiful community, plus I’ve made lots of replaces to it including the cooling system. I was lucky to find a home with everything I needed. But, the cooling system was old, so that had to go. I found a local Heating plus A/C company that did an excellent task replacing the aging cooling system in my home. I also spoke with the Heating plus A/C company about air quality in the home since it can be quite hot plus humid! His advice was I should look into a whole-condo whole-home air purifier. I did some research, plus started to save for the system, then just when I was almost hitting my target, I got a bonus from toil plus the money went into installing a whole-condo whole-home air purifier in my home.

A vehicle’s heating system is an absolutely essential component to have for people who live in certain frigid climates. For others, at the least, it is a source of comfort at certain times of the year. Vehicle heating systems truly are ingenious inventions that work in surprising ways. First of all, the heat source is generated by the car’s engine. What’s amazing is that a vehicle merely needs to take advantage of the fact that the system in place that cools a car’s engine produces a lot of heat. A portion of this heat is captured and redirected towards the car’s cabin. Though that’s the gist of how vehicle heaters work there are other components involved. Coolant circulation is required to produce this effect. A mixture of coolant and water flows through the engine through pipes and absorbs heat. Then it flows into the heater core. The heater core is a network of small tubes and essentially functions as a mini radiator. There are fins attached to the heater core which the heat transfers to and then a blower fan forces air over the fins and directs it into the cabin. Of course, you can adjust the fan speed and the temperature from the car’s cabin to regulate the temperature. There’s also a defrost function, which is quite important. All in all, before vehicles developed effective heating systems, there was simply no way that a car or a truck was going to be able to traverse certain areas comfortably or even effectively. Thank God for car heaters!

I recently purchased a new vehicle and I feel absolutely spoiled for quite a lot of reasons.

First of all, my previous vehicle was on its absolute last leg when I finally decided to get a new one.

It was, however, a very reliable car, and one that had actually reached over 200,000 miles while still being quite functional. That being said, I would need to take it to the mechanic shop more and more often. Moreover, the air conditioner had given out about 9 months prior. Thankfully, the air conditioner stopped working right around October, when things were getting chillier. The heat was still working okay. However, by the time July came around, I knew that I couldn’t stand not having an air conditioner in my vehicle anymore. It was actually one of the main things that convinced me to get a new vehicle. My commutes to work we’re getting more and more brutal, as this summer has been quite hot, even for this area. Anyway, that’s one of the reasons why I feel so spoiled by my new car. It has one of the most amazing air conditioning systems I’ve ever experienced in any vehicle! Perhaps I am overreacting because it had been so long since I had any air conditioning in my vehicle. But, I could swear that cranking up the air conditioner to full power created an absolutely cool and refreshing paradise in the cabin of my car. I also knew that my new car would keep me comfortable in the coming winter, thanks to a robust heating system and heated seats!

I fully intended to spend a relaxing day at home this Saturday.

• It is my typical custom as a bachelor without a care in the world and a pretty decent paying job that nonetheless strains me during the work week.

I might go out with friends every now and then on a Saturday, but I typically save that for a Sunday or a holiday. Yes, I have come to enjoy Saturdays as a day where I just chill out and do nothing but play video games, read, or just watch videos or movies or TV shows. It’s that day of the week that just distresses me, where I have no responsibilities or obligations, save to enjoy myself, at least most of the time. So, you can imagine my frustration when my air conditioner suddenly decided to give out on me just halfway through the morning. I gave up pretty quickly. I’m trying to figure out what the heck was wrong, so I called out an HVAC technician. Unfortunately, my typical HVAC company of choice was extremely busy that day, so no one would be able to come out until Sunday! I was filled with dread as I faced down an entire day without an air conditioner in the middle of the summer, but also an entire night! As for the day, the only thing that I could think to do was go to the local library and get some serious reading done. I was quite thankful for the excellent air conditioning in the library. I actually ended up finishing a book that I had been meaning to finish for a while. It was around 5:30 when I decided I would go out to eat to stall for time before I would inevitably have to return to my hot box of a house to try and get some measure of rest. I chose a very nice Chinese buffet place with a great air conditioner. I swear I would have slept in the back if they would have let me!

I recently visited a very popular and huge theme park down south a few hours from where I live.

It’s the middle of summer, so it’s theme park season for sure, but it was particularly hot and humid when we took our trip down there.

High temperatures in the afternoons would reach into the ’90s, and evenings what scarcely did below 80°. As we toured the park I took an interest in all of the different kinds of climate control options that the park used to accommodate guests. I was curious because I will be going to school very soon to become an HVAC technician. The first thing I noticed is structures strategically placed at regular intervals throughout the park that offered shade. Nearly all of these areas also had fans and mist machines. You’ve probably seen these fan and mist machine combinations if you’ve ever been to theme parks in the summer. It’s a very effective way of cooling off customers as they explore the park. I also started to realize that water themed attractions may very well be a necessity rather than merely an option that offers variety. Theme park designers kill two birds with one stone by cooling off customers while simultaneously thrilling them with an enjoyable experience. Of course, having bathrooms and water fountains at regular intervals was also very helpful. This is all very nice, but of course one of the greatest allures to taking a break to catch lunch or dinner is definitely the fact that the restaurants are nearly all air conditioned, and the air conditioner is designed to be particularly powerful and refreshing!

Natasha is going to spend the whole morning inside to avoid drinking beer this week. She will do her work online and then the rest of the morning is going to be on the yoga mat or on the meditation cushion in the study room. Her flatmate is gone and Natasha is doing a self imposed dry dock from drinking beer this week, especially after how many she had last night. Drinking ten beers in a night doesn’t seem like a lot, but Natasha drinks two each night and doesn’t like when she goes over that limit. So this week will be air conditioned confinement for her the entire time, as it is sizzling outside and to stay in the flat all day is going to require some fantastic temperature control. Natasha may invite her friend over to hang out later, but she is going to ask her not to bring any beer. They can have a quiet evening in front of the fireplace while sipping tea, but drinking beer is a no go all night tonight for her. She is great with staying home for the whole morning because it is quite crowded out there this weekend with the big music festival going on. Natasha may hit this local business to get some produce and then come home to her AC and cats. She has a guest coming in two mornings and wants to also get the home cleaned so that she doesn’t think she is a slob. Natasha will wash the washable HEPA filter later and she will be all set to go
