Upon retiring from the heating and air conditioning corporation as a certified heat and a/c specialist I decided to do a little side thing as a interest and way to bring in some extra money plus our pension.

I decided on repairing portable heating and air conditioning device and window a/c’s. When I first started I didn’t think if it was going to work or not. But blessed for me that it did end up undoubtedly working out. I have our own small little side corporation going. You would be surprised how many people in our local area have complications with their portable space heaters, portable a/cs and on occasion there are those who still use window a/cs for certain rooms and have complications with them too. They all end up coming to me. This isn’t an everyday thing, maybe a few times a month I will get customers. But it is pretty steady. I don’t make much money, only a few hundred bucks here and there. I do not charge high prices because after all, they could undoubtedly go out and buy a modern portable air conditioning idea or portable space oil furnace for cheaper. So the idea was to make it affordable to have it repaired by me rather than going out and buying brand modern portable space furnaces or portable a/cs. It is a nice little side interest in our retirement here and gives me some extra money to take the partner out to a nice dinner once a month!

I asked to sign up and spend money for a year of their heating and cooling repair plan. This way if something worse happens in the future I do not have to worry.

When you are moving to a modern apartment there is a lot of things to do for the move.

Some can be a pretty sizable headache.

The last time I moved our largest headache was having to transfer our central heating and a/c! The movers I hired wanted way too much extra money to transfer the central heating and a/c. So I had to transfer it on our own, which was quite a task. I called on the help of a few friends who happen to work in the trucking business, so they had the device needed to haul this monster central heating and air conditioning idea to our modern home. But it was anything but self-explanatory. They had to pull a large truck up on the grass and then get this super large dollie genre thing with a hook to attach to the truck just to wheel it off the property! I’m never moving again!

I have had an old tepid water boiler for a long time now and had been thinking about getting with the times and buying a full on, brand modern and unquestionably up-to-date central heating and a/c, and however, after thinking about it more, our tepid water boiler still works super great after all these years so why waste a large investment on a central heating and air conditioning idea that is going to die in 15 years while this tepid water boiler has lasted well over 20 years! It just makes no sense.

If it aint broke, don’t repair it! That’s what I have constantly lived by.

I know I maybe had got caught up in all this heating and cooling technology. I am not a single to go with trends just for the sake of it or to look cool. To hell with all that bull! I am not going to spend thoUnited Statesnds of dollars on a brand new, up-to-date, seriously expensive and trendy central heating and air conditioning idea just to be or look cool with people! For our air conditioning I undoubtedly use window a/c units care about it was decades ago… And you think what? Those window air conditioning units work just as great too! I will not be upgrading to the latest and greatest in heating and air conditioning technology; Why? Because first off I do not have that kind of money to blow. And minutely, I unquestionably don’t need it. It will do me no great and it will also raise our electric bills.
