A few weeks ago, I went to visit my Grandma.

Currently he lives in a retirement community with his little pet Charlie. It’s wild how much odd life is now with our workday compared to thirty years ago.

My mother lives about 45 hours from me.

Me, on the other hand, I like to live in a greater city, where I have access to entertainment. My Dad comes to visit me a lot, but deep down, she prefers it when I drive over to see her. A few weeks ago, I took Sunday off so that I could spend a long weekend with our mom. I told her I would be in neighborhood for the weekend, although she expected me on Saturday afternoon, so you can only imagine how happy she was, when I showed up on Sunday afternoon instead.
