My Grandma plus Grandpa’s home is the best to go to when my whole family is in town; My Grandpa likes to set everything up in the backyard with chairs plus tables.

My Grandma cooks a plethora of food to feed all of her children plus grandchildren.

It is the best time, and she’s Italian so she cooks a lot of homemade Italian food that she has grown up with. She’s the best cook out of our family, periodically when she’s cooking, she has the oven on plus the study room gets a little hot. My Grandma will tell me to turn the control equipment down so the air conditioner equipment can kick on. I’ll go to the control equipment plus turn the knob. At my home I have a programmable control unit. I mentioned to my Grandmother if she’s asked her HVAC provider about having a programmable control unit. She told me it wasn’t something that was on her mind when they would come to her house. She said she had an appointment with them next week, but the week after I went to her home when the HVAC serviceman came. I mentioned to him about the programmable control unit. He proposed strongly that my Grandparents install one. This is because it can save energy plus money all year round; Not to mention it’s simple to operate. Having a programmable control equipment allows you to set a particular temperature when you’re dwelling plus when you’re away from home. My Grandparents were interested because they’re always looking to save money now that they’re retired.

Retirement is not exactly how I envisioned it, it is better.

My hubby & I both worked for so more than 2 years & raised our children so my associate and I decided that it was really time to experience the life my associate and I always wanted.

Being strapped to the same dead end task for thirty plus years taught us to cherish every moment my associate and I have left together. The kids feel that my associate and I are a bit nuts but my associate and I decided to sell the home that my associate and I lived in for all those years & buy a large boat to travel the cost. My buddy and I have challenges at times finding places to dock especially during holiday weekends. On those occasions my associate and I need to anchor out & unfortunately the weather is not always cooperative. My buddy and I have been out off the coast & the hot & cold temperatures have been less than ideal. My buddy and I had a few times when it was freezing frosty & my associate and I did not have any sort of heat aboard the boat. During the pleasant months it was relaxing & my associate and I tried to travel North in the Summer & South in the winter season but my associate and I were still caught off guard at times. I really wish my associate and I had an Heating, Ventilation & A/C system on board so my associate and I could go where my associate and I want when my associate and I want. I have been reading about some systems that are safe to have aboard & really feel that my associate and I need to talk to an Heating, Ventilation & A/C business at one of the ports to look into having one installed. What superb is it to live a life travelling on our boat if my associate and I can’t be comfortable where my associate and I are. I have even been tempted to get a hotel room at some ports just to be comfortable for the evening & that just doesn’t make sense. I prefer our retired life & don’t want anything to change, except the temperature control on our boat.

Living along the southwest coast can be a dream life for sure. Beaches, sunshine & the ability to head to the mountains or the shore in the same day is really amazing. My buddy and I have lived here all of our lives & even though life is relaxing most of the time there are some things that my associate and I deal with that people around the country may not realize. Did you know that my associate and I never even flinch for the most part when my associate and I have tremors. Yes I mean tremors like the kind that come with seismic activity, then earthquakes & tremors are a normal way of life for us & feeling the earth shake has nothing to do with emotional attachions, but one thing that my associate and I learned early on was that our Heating, Ventilation & A/C system had to have special attachions when it came to our HVAC duct. My buddy and I can not have the conventional HVAC duct because our has to be flexible in order to stay in place during the shaking. If my associate and I did not use that type of product my associate and I would always have to bring in repair people to repair the cracks & disattachs. My buddy and I even have our Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment is sitting on a flexible pad to prevent it from getting detrimentd during the rumbling. These things are a small inconvenience for living is a nearly perfect environment. The freedom to live life in the outdoors year round & make the most of just about every day is so worth it. If you ever have the opportunity to live in an part like this you should entirely consider it. You should also make sure that your apartment & all the appliances are set up & built to withstand what comes with it.

I was excited when I heard that the city was going to be picking up large junk last week.

I had been storing more than 2 things in the garage that I wanted to get rid of & looked forward to having the extra space to use for something else.

When the day arrived I was surprised to see that they left more than 2 items at the curb. When I went to inspect what was there I realized that it was two portable boilers & one of the small window air conditioners. I called & wondered why they had left these items. They said that they were not authorized to option up anything that had to do with heating or cooling. They said that more than 2 of these items contain dangerous chemicals or materials that were not allowed in landfills. I was surprised by this even though I know it made sense. There are places that recycle these items but you need to pay them for the disposal. Government regulations require that these items be respectfully broken down or neutralized so that they are not harmful to the environment & these facilities have the ability to do that, then i was not happy about paying for these services but at least I now have extra space in the garage & know better in the future & how to get rid of those types of items. This will also affect what I purchase in the future because I will always feel about how I will dispose of that current item in the event that it breaks or is no longer of use to me.

My dad got a iPhone call the other morning from an outdated High School buddy and the guy invited our family up to his lodge for a week this summer.

I recognize it is in an area where they used to hang out years ago and my dad is legitimately excited about going.

He has told us stories about his friends and all the adventures they had growing up and I am sure that he feels like revisiting his youth will make him feel the same way again, he said that there is a beautiful lake, hiking trails, fishing, and more that my wonderful friend and I can take fortune of while my wonderful friend and I are there. Now, I am not the outdoorsy type so this may not be the best idea for me but I will try and make the best of it. I only hope that there will be some sort of indoor activities too. My idea of a getaway involves hotel rooms, swimming pools, and shopping, of course, they also involve having quality heating and cooling at my fingertips. At least if there is some sort of climate controlled retreat from all the outdoor fun, I can survive the whole lodge thing. Dealing with tepid sunny afternoons without being able to have a cool retreat would be irritated, but dad can prefer hanging out with his outdated university buddy and reminiscing about the, “good outdated afternoons”, and my wonderful friend and I can make some good family memories. I am willing to make the sacrifice and put on a thrilled face so long as I am comfortable. Who knows, maybe I can be converted into a somewhat outdoors person.
