I was gleeful when I heard that the village was going to be picking up giant junk last week.

I had been storing several things in the garage that I wanted to get rid of & looked forward to having the extra space to use for something else. When the afternoon arrived I was surprised to see that they left several items at the curb. When I went to inspect what was there I realized that it was two portable furnaces & one of the small window air conditioners. I called & wondered why they had left these items. They said that they were not authorized to option up anything that had to do with heating or cooling. They said that more than 2 of these items contain dangerous chemicals or materials that were not allowed in landfills. I was surprised by this although I feel it made sense. There are places that recycle these items but you need to spend my savings them for the disposal. Government regulations require that these items be properly broken down or neutralized so that they are not harmful to the environment & these facilities have the ability to do that; I was not glad about paying for these services but at least I now have extra space in the garage & know better in the future & how to get rid of those types of items. This will also affect what I purchase in the future because I will always suppose about how I will dispose of that new item in the event that it breaks or is no longer of use to me.

The vents in the ceiling were opened and closed by a pull chain which I also found strange. My associate and I were legitimately thrilled when the repair was done but I will never forget that unit.

I was trying to find a new getaway spot for the family camping trip but all I kept seeing were ads for new HVAC systems. It is that time of year where flowers are starting to pop up, leaves are emerging, and the world is thawing after a long frigid winter. Many companies in the area are trying to sell new HVAC units and upgraded cooling systems in preparation for the upcoming Summer. I know someone was trying to tell me something because I also got an email reminder for my annual system check up for the HVAC system in my house. I finally gave up on my getaway search and starting looking at some of the ads, but there were some legitimately wonderful deals out there on upgrades and new HVAC equipment. I called a couple of the local companies to get some estimates and I may end up deciding to pay for a new system. At least if I upgrade my wonderful friend and I can have a fully programmable system that my wonderful friend and I can control when my wonderful friend and I are away on our annual getaway. It will honestly make going away easier in that respect too. Having the peace of mind that our home is safe and secure as well as perfectly climate controlled will be a good thing. My associate and I once went away for getaway only to return home to find that our HVAC system had died while my wonderful friend and I were gone and the heat had killed all the houseplants while my wonderful friend and I were gone. An added feature would be that my wonderful friend and I could get notified of complications on our iPhone no matter where my wonderful friend and I are.

My Grandmother and Grandpa’s apartment is the best to go to when my whole family is in town, but my Grandpa enjoys to set everything up in the backyard with chairs and tables.

It is the best time, but she’s Italian so she cooks a lot of homemade Italian food that she has grown up with. She proposed strongly that my Grandparents install one. This is because it can save energy and money all year round, and not to mention it’s easy to operate. Having a programmable thermostat allows you to set a particular temperature when you’re apartment and when you’re away from home. My Grandparents were interested because they’re constantly looking to save money now that they’re retired.
