When I called the owner of the lake house I lived in, it was to tell him the furnace had broken… He said he would get an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C contractor to the home as soon as possible.

• It was getting colder by the hour, and I was considering going to our friend’s home until the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C contractor could arrive.

It was only several degrees out, and I knew I could not stay here much longer. I was sitting in the residing room wrapped up in a blanket when the owner of the home called. She sounded infuriated that she could not do more for me, however I had to take care of myself.

The owner of the well drilling company brought a current well pump with them and his child who was an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C contractor. In case the two of us had trouble starting the boiler, he was there to help.
