Starting a new career as a heating and air conditioning specialist is not the most easy thing in the world.
Even after going to heating and cooling school and passing, your first day on the job and actually going to repair some central heating and air conditioning systems can be pretty scary! At least it was for me.
However, I got very lucky in the fact that the heating and air conditioning company I went to work for had a policy set up for up and coming new heat and a/c workers like me. That was to have a well seasoned and professional heating and air conditioning specialist come with me on my first week of jobs assigned to make sure I am comfortable and doing everything right. This was a real relief! I have to say that it made it very relaxed and easy to do. I kinda felt like I was in another part of heating and air conditioning school doing hands on HVAC repair training, except it wasn’t training, it was the real deal! And I have to say it went smooth as ever and I was so happy about this. I do not think I would have managed to do such a great job had they not sent a well experienced of many years heating and air conditioning specialist out with me on all jobs that first week. I have now been working as a heat and a/c specialist for a little over a month and I am totally into it and doing quite well. I really lucked out!
