I never offered a thought to the fact that the two of us had a boiler plan for heating. Our heat came from the overheated water flowing through pipes. The people I was with and I took for granted that the two of us constantly had excellent heating in our home, & enjoyed it, not that many of weeks ago, the two of us had a concern with our well. The people I was with and I had to wait two weeks before the two of us could a well professional to come to the house, pull the water pump, & replace it. Our well was 325 feet deep, & the pump quit running. It was frigid outside, & the two of us couldn’t get any water unless the two of us bought gallons of it. Then the two of us realized that without water, the two of us didn’t have any heat. Our boiler didn’t work if there was no water to heat. I called the well drilling company a third time & asked if they could fit us in anywhere possible. I explained the two of us had a boiler & without water, the two of us didn’t have heat. She put a rush on the well repair, & asked if the two of us had alternative oil furnace. The people I was with and I had a fireplace in the home office, however the heat didn’t get to the home offices at the other end of the house. Two days later, there was a knock on the door. The owner of the well drilling company brought a up-to-date well pump with them & his son who was an Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional. In case the two of us had trouble starting the boiler, he was there to help.
