Upgrading to a new whole home heating system

The only time I light the gas fireplace is for ambiance and the cozy feeling it brings

We are in the middle of winter, and through it all, I have managed to keep my boiler installation functioning optimally. This fall, I knew that I needed to replace the whole home heating system because it had been having issues for a couple of months. I had saved up for the new gas furnace for an entire year now. I needed an affordable but efficient system, and who better to recommend one than the HVAC repairman down at the home services business. We had gone through a couple of heating corps looking for a suitable system. We scheduled the delivery as well as the installation then I headed home. There were about five heating technicians in my house working on the system. Lucky for me, the ductwork already existed. They did not find even a tiny crack or opening on the HVAC duct, and so all they had to do was duct cleaning. Afterward, the serviceman gave me energy-saving help tips to keep my energy bill as low as possible and get the best out of the unit. Like the previous unit, I needed to run an annual furnace/heater tune-up on the system. Unlike the previous system, this one had a washable filter that needed to be cleaned regularly rather than replaced. Following these tips, I have not had to call the heating provider for any repairs within the six months since installation, and the indoor comfort is at its best. The only time I light the gas fireplace is for ambiance and the cozy feeling it brings. Before, it was an additional heat source since the system did not heat the house adequately.
