My dad was consistently a stickler about the A/C plan at our house! I’m not sure why though, then perhaps he had a bad experience that I’m unaware of, but he was insistent about having the A/C plan looked at. Twice per year, every fall as well as springtime, an HVAC specialist would come to our house and tune the A/C system, a new air filter would be put in and my dad would spend at least one Monday a month cleaning the condenser component outside, seeing this all my life, I grew up to be the same, when I bought my first house, I understood the importance of taking care of an A/C system. This is why I bought a house that had a brand new A/C plan already installed, my care for an A/C plan didn’t stop at simply having the plan tuned twice per year though. I was also adamant about using the same air filters that my dad used. They’d consistently worked well for his home, so I knew they would work well for mine. The only thing I needed to change was the size because my cooling system was a different size. When I hired an HVAC company to repair the HVAC plan for the first time, he was impressed by my HVAC knowledge; He especially couldn’t believe that I was so adamant about caring for my A/C plan at my age. I took pride in this as well as I’m proud to say that my dad taught me well.
