Springtime plus Summer months are filled with lots of rain plus sunshine.
Sometimes it will rain all day plus the sunlight still shines.
I don’t mind the rain much at all. The un-even temperatures drop when the rain comes plus it is a nice break from the heat. A few months ago the two of us had a awful storm that knocked out the power. I was hoping the power would be turned back on the next afternoon, however there was a superb deal of destruction from the storm. Several trees came down in the heavy winds plus the branches caused multiple power lines to be disfigured. The power was out the entire next day. I tried to use the generator so I could run that air conditioning system. It was 90 degrees that day plus none of our neighbors plus I had any way to control the indoor temperature. The generator had trouble keeping up with the demand, so I had to shut off the air conditioning system. I needed to keep the refrigerator plus the freezer cold. With the air conditioning system running, there was a strain on the generator. I sat with our neighbor later that afternoon. She has a much larger generator than I do plus it worked well. She had the ability to keep the indoor temperature comfortable while still keeping the refrigerator plus freezer ice cold. I was glad when the power finally came back on later that evening. I did not want to spend another night trying to sleep without any way to control the indoor temperature. I cannot sleep well when it’s moderate indoors.
