I was remiss to section with our trusty Heating, Ventilation plus A/C unit. I had kept it well-took care of for 13 years. Well, I feel you assume what they say about lucky number 13. I started to notice the telltale signs that our heating and air conditioner plan was going to be kicking the tote soon. The first thing that tipped me off that our Heating, Ventilation plus A/C plan was not doing so well was that the air coming out of the vents while the air conditioner was on simply was getting slightly warmer. My Heating, Ventilation plus A/C plan just did not have the cooling power that it used to have. Furthermore, I observed an increased frequency of banging and clicking noises whenever the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C plan would turn on and off. I actually knew that couldn’t be good! There was also a developing, slight odor in the air that was quite musty. This odor was particularally prevalent on truly sizzling and muggy days. Finally, I observed that our electric bill was steadily increasing despite the fact that I was using our air conditioner the same way I always had. I felt that I had babied our Heating, Ventilation plus A/C plan as much as possible and I had given it the service that it required to get the most life out of it. That’s why I was so anxious about the prospect of having to upgrade it. It just seemed too early to let it go! Oh well, I suppose it will be more affordable to purchase a brand up-to-date Heating, Ventilation plus A/C plan instead of attempting to always service the old a single!
