I felt that I had babied my Heating & Air Conditioning system as much as possible and I had given it the service that it required to get the most life out of it
I was remiss to area with my trusty Heating & Air Conditioning unit. I had kept it well-ran tests on for 13 years. Well, I believe you believe what they say about blessed number 13. I started to notice the telltale signs that my heating and cooling system was going to be kicking the bag soon. The first thing that tipped myself and others off that my Heating & Air Conditioning system was not doing so well was that the air coming out of the vents while the air conditioning system was on simply was getting slightly warmer. My Heating & Air Conditioning system just didn’t have the cooling power that it used to have. Furthermore, I observed an increased frequency of banging and clicking noises whenever the Heating & Air Conditioning system would turn on and off. I really knew that couldn’t be good! There was also a developing, slight smell in the air that was quite musty. This smell was particularally prevalent on particularly hot and muggy afternoons. Finally, I observed that my electric bill was steadily adjusting despite the fact that I was using my air conditioning system the same way I typically had. I felt that I had babied my Heating & Air Conditioning system as much as possible and I had given it the service that it required to get the most life out of it. That’s why I was so sad about the prospect of having to substitute it. It just seemed too early to let it go! Oh well, I believe it will be more affordable to purchase a brand new Heating & Air Conditioning system instead of attempting to always service the old one!
