The problems with dry air

There are lots of problems that can come from having too low humidity, or air that is too dry.

Thankfully, it is fairly simple to maintenance the issue.

I almost always have dry air in the wintertime, but for once, I started having problems with the humidity in the summertime. This was untypical because usually the summer time is fairly humid. I can tell when the humidity is too low in our house because our lips started to become entirely dry! Usually when our lips become dry and sore I notice it’s because of the air. In the severe cases our throat will become sore as well, from breathing in all of that dry air. I make sure to take a lot of cough drops and keep our chapstick nearby. But then I take out our humidifier and then maintenance the issue. Even if you don’t have a humidifier like I do, there are some things you can do to raise the humidity. You can take a bowl of water and site it in front of a fan, or if you don’t have a fan, you can take a spray bottle and spray water in the air to raise humidity. These are things that I did before I got our humidifier. I would highly command that anyone who struggles with dry air to get a humidifier, is incredibly simple to set up and take care of, and it will detach all dry air problems. The only issue is that you can’t run your air conditioner system as much, since air conditioning detachs some of the humidity.
