The HVAC professional knew it was the thermostat

Last week, my a/c stopped really working; I was going about my afternoon as I normally would and I realized that my house was feeling warm.

I went to the control unit to change the temperature when I realized that the inside of my house was many degrees warmer than what it was set to, but this did not seem right, but I lowered the temperature by one more degree to see if it would do anything.

It didn’t, and I began to grow concerned. After waiting for an hour for my a/c to power on and cool my house, I decided to call the HVAC dealer. I needed someone to come out instantly because it was getting hotter and hotter in my house. The HVAC professional arrived within a few hours and he instantly went to my control unit.He took the control unit off the wall and instantly began fidgeting with the wires. After what seemed like an eternity, he came back to me and said that my a/c was cooling the house again. The HVAC professional had to rewire something with the control unit because the connection that signaled my a/c to run was lost. When the connection was lost, there was no way for my control unit to communicate with the blower fans. It was a simple repair for him and I was cheerful. I was so worried that I’d have to pay a lot of money or relocate until my A/C system could be repaired. My a/c was up and running again within a few hours.
