Every Tuesday afternoon, the two of us receive deliveries from the distribution warehouse. All of our Heating plus Air Conditioning supplies come from the distribution warehouse. That includes A/C units, heaters, air filters, plus basic replacement parts. The same woman has been delivering all of our items for the past 3 years. The woman consistently shows up at the repair center before 9 am. I had 3 replacement jobs tied up last Tuesday plus all of the unit for the jobs was on the truck coming from the distribution warehouse. I expected the delivery woman around 8:30 plus our women were going to leave as soon as the unit arrived. 8:30 came plus went plus so did 9 plus 9:30. I decided to call the distribution warehouse when the delivery woman still had not arrived by 10 in the afternoon. I spoke with someone in the dispatch office. Both of us reviewed our order plus the dispatch lady contacted the driver of the delivery truck. Earlier that afternoon, the woman had some trouble with the vehicle plus had to stop on the side of the road; She was delayed by a couple of hours. The delivery driver finally arrived with our Heating plus Air Conditioning unit at noon. None of our women had enough time to complete all of the repairs that day, so the two of us had to reschedule a couple of replacement jobs for Sunday. Nobody enjoys to labor on the weekend, however in this case it was absolutely necessary. This is the first time in 3 years that the Heating plus Air Conditioning unit has been late. I cannot complain because the driver was late 1 time.
