The delivery guy was several hours late to the store

Nobody prefers to labor on the weekend, however in this case it was really necessary

Every Wednesday afternoon, all of us gain deliveries from the distribution warehouse. All of our Heating and Air Conditioning supplies come from the distribution warehouse. That includes A/C units, heaters, air filters, and basic substitutement parts. The same guy has been delivering all of our items for the past several years. The guy consistently shows up at the service center before 9 am. I had several installation jobs scheduled last Wednesday and all of the equipment for the jobs was on the truck coming from the distribution warehouse. I expected the delivery guy around 8:30 and my gentlemen were going to leave as soon as the equipment arrived. 8:30 came and went and so did 9 and 9:30. I decided to call the distribution warehouse when the delivery guy still had not arrived by 10 in the afternoon. I spoke with someone in the dispatch office. The two of us reviewed my order and the dispatch guy contacted the driver of the delivery truck, but earlier that afternoon, the guy had some trouble with the car and had to stop on the side of the road, but he was delayed by a couple of hours. The delivery driver finally arrived with our Heating and Air Conditioning equipment at noon. None of my gentlemen had enough time to complete all of the repairs that afternoon, so all of us had to reschedule a couple of installation jobs for Monday. Nobody prefers to labor on the weekend, however in this case it was really necessary. This is the first time in several years that the Heating and Air Conditioning equipment has been late. I cannot complain because the driver was late one time.
