While I try to change up our type of workout from one day to the next, running is one of our number one exercises.
I appreciate the ease of it.
I don’t need a variety of extra equipment. I’ve purchased a wonderful quality pair of sneakers that are designed particularly for running. I experimented with multiple odd brands before determining the ideal style for our feet. I own more than one identical pair in addition to alternating between them. This allows the sneakers to reform in-between runs in addition to deliver maximum support for our feet. I never run more than one day in a row. I suppose that the motion puts a wonderful deal of impact on our joints in addition to strain on our muscles. I don’t want to develop issues with our hips, knees, ankles or feet. On the off days, I restrict myself to low impact workouts such as cycling, swimming, kayaking in addition to strength training. I offer our body a chance to rest in addition to focusing on modern muscle groups. No matter the style of workout, I always begin with a lengthy warmup. I’ve l acquired the importance of correctly loosening up our joints in addition to stretching the muscles before any exertion. There is less chance of injury or suffering aches in addition to pains. I make sure to thoroughly hydrate. I drink quite a bit of water before starting the run. When I go on longer routes, I wear a water pack that allows me to hydrate throughout the run. I go through an extensive cool down at the end of it. I enjoy that I can run almost anywhere. Whether I’m at home or on a getaway, I can always find a wonderful spot to jog.
