Renovation snag solved with ductless HVAC

The ductwork was no good either and would have to be replaced if I wanted traditional central air conditioning.

There is more to owning a home than throwing your stuff inside and paying the mortgage. This I know. From the time I first bought this house until now, I’ve been so excited to own my home. However, that also came with a few challenges. There were plenty of weeks and months where I couldn’t come home to just relax in my air conditioning. Part of that had to do with the fact that upgrading the HVAC equipment was a big part of the renovations I was working on. Well of course, the HVAC professionals would be doing the actual upgrades when it came to the HVAC equipment. But there was so much that had to be done in order to get there with the HVAC renovations. The old HVAC unit worked but it really didn’t do much. And I for sure wanted to complete my part of the renovations prior to summer. There was no way to deal with our brand of heat and humidity without great HVAC cooling. That old HVAC unit sure wasn’t going to provide for that. So when we got close, I had the HVAC contractor come out to do the inspection. But that’s when I learned that the HVAC renovations weren’t going to be easy. The ductwork was no good either and would have to be replaced if I wanted traditional central air conditioning. But thankfully, that HVAC professional had a heating and cooling option that worked out maybe even better. I ended up with a ductless multi split heating and cooling system. This HVAC unit consists of 3 ductless heat pumps that are strategically positioned in my home.
