Old Cars don’t always have the best heating as well as cooling

My father in law is a vintage car lover. He has a barn full of old cars, some date back to when cars first hit the roads in 1910!! On sizzling summer time mornings he enjoys to take the old cars out for a summer time drive on the old country roads. A few weekends ago our family as well as I were visiting our in laws for a BBQ. While I helped our mother in law with the meal, our partner played basketball with the teenagers in the driveway while our father in law washed as well as wax a car from the 1920 era. It was a absolutely nice afternoon. My oldest son began to show interest in what his Grandpa was doing as well as soon our father in law was showing him how to properly wax a car. I was absolutely absolutely surprised that our son seemed so interested in helping his Grandpa. After every one of us had all had an early lunch our father in law asked our teenagers if they would like to go for a short car ride in the car he had just washed. They all jumped at the opportunity to go with him. My partner as well as I were helping wash up the dining room when they all returned from the ride as well as the teenagers all looked irritated as they climbed out of the car. As it turns out the teenagers were absolutely distraught that Grandpa refused to turn on the air conditioning in the car because they didn’t like feeling the wind on their faces. They thought it was mean of their Grandpa to refuse to turn on the ac. Every one of us had to explain to them that cars that old didn’t have cooling systems.
