Periodically I suppose guilty when I realize my secretary puts in longer hours at work than I do! She is at the office when I get in, and she is still there when I leave. I take off early so I can go to the local community university and teach an HVAC class. I like being an HVAC teacher, and my spouse has no concerns with myself and others doing the work. The people I was with and I have gotten several particularly good HVAC servicemans out of that class. Since my secretary is my spouse, it makes it easier for her to understand, then last week, she put in almost seventy hours in the HVAC supplier. She does all the scheduling and handles all the billing. I’m not sure what I would do if she did not work with me. I am regularly telling her how much I adore everything she does. Last week, she called myself and others at class and said there was an emergency HVAC call that she didn’t think how to handle… My mother called and said her oil furnace was off, and she couldn’t get it to turn on. I told her to send our son, although she was already on another emergency HVAC call. The people I was with and I talked about other HVAC servicemans, however no one was available. I took my entire class to my mom’s beach house and had them help myself and others take care of my parents’ oil furnace. It was quite a reading experience, and a field trip to show them what particularly happened when you were an HVAC serviceman. My spouse dealt with it all while watching our kid in the playpen next to her.
