Gaining independence was always the greatest vision in life since I was 13. Before that time, I lived a very cheerful life with our mom Pat. She brought myself and others up on her own after our dad walked out on us when I was 5. Pat was cheerful as well as healthy, but then she fell ill as well as passed away when I was 12. I had to transfer to another state and live with our uncle as well as aunt, whom I didn’t know. They had always treated Pat badly, blaming her for dad leaving. From the afternoon I moved in, I started to labor as well as saving for college to transfer out as soon as I hit 18. After I finished high school, it was no surprise that they said I was now on our own. Luckily, I had saved up enough to head to Heating as well as A/C school as per the school counselor’s advice. She knew that I liked to work with our hands as well as encouraged myself and others to try out a trade school as well as avoid getting into debt by going to college. The trade school that I applied to had accommodation, so I lived there, went to Heating as well as A/C classes, as well as also worked part-time for an Heating as well as A/C worker in town. My time was so limited, as well as I barely had a social life. But, I was determined to make it as well as be totally independent once I finished school. It took 3 years to complete the course, as well as I had a good task waiting for myself and others when I graduated from Heating as well as A/C school. The pay was good, plus I got benefits. With our culture of saving, I managed to get the 20% down payment as well as bought our first small house. The house requires a lot of work, including adding a current air conditioner.
