I have a smart control unit and I genuinely prefer the way it works and how it has made running my central heating, ventilation and A/C plan much easier. Though I have to say it can sometimes get frustrating when the smart control unit does not work right. It sometimes has problems communicating with the app on my cell phone that controls the smart control unit from virtually somewhere on the planet. I use the app on my cell phone to turn on my central heating, ventilation and A/C plan while on the way apartment from somewhere. When I am not at apartment I shut off the heating and cooling plan because it saves on energy use. But when the smart control unit does not want to communicate with the app on the cell phone it almost makes myself and others regret having the smart control unit and makes myself and others guess about wanting to just go back to the outdated correct control units. Having a dial control unit or a digital correct control unit did not proposedthese problems. Because it was split and dry! You turned it on, set the temperature and that was it. And when you did not need heating or air conditioning you simply just turned off the central heating and air conditioner. If I have to do the same exact thing with having a smart control unit because it won’t do its job with the app on my cell phone, then what on earth is the point of even having it? I will wait and see if I can get the heating and cooling company to look into these problems before getting rid of my smart control unit.
