I have been working on it in our garage, however a lot of the time it’s either too hot in there or too cold. My husbandy said that I should have the HVAC duct extended into the garage and I should call a local supplier to see if I could have that done. I ended up calling an Heating, Ventilation and A/C business and they were cheerful to send an Heating, Ventilation and A/C expert out to our locale. The Heating, Ventilation and A/C expert admired the automobile that I was working on and he was telling me about an outdated university Pontiac Firebird that he was working on. The two of us talked about cars for a little while and after that I got down to business. He told me that our Heating, Ventilation and A/C was not sized officially to extend the HVAC duct into the garage. He said we could replace the A/C condenser unit, however it would cost a small fortune. He said the best move would be to have a ductless mini cut air conditioner installed in our garage. I thought that sounded more costly, however he said these systems are relatively cheap especially if they only require a single zone. He said they last a long time too with minimal repair, however you do have to take standard care of them by cleaning the air filters officially. I agreed to the installation. He said I should add some insulation to our garage, and I’ll be in good shape. I did just that and now I can work on our mustang year round with no complications thanks to our new ductless mini cut air conditioner which also provides heating in the winter.
