I do a three-way split workout routine each week, training the groups of body parts on different nights once a week.
- When I was younger, I used to workout every afternoon.
However, now I find that weight training several nights a week is adequate to maintain the muscle I have left. While I have less muscle now, I am more flexible and have added weekly yoga to my workout routine. Long ago, I was a Heating and Air Conditioning technician. I also suffered from lower back problems until I started doing yoga every afternoon to loosen up my body. I will continue doing it until I am unable to transport anymore because it has helped tremendously. While working on my air conditioner, I used to have trouble bending over for several minutes at a time, but now I don’t have any problems. Although I can’t lift as heavy as I used to when I was younger, it isn’t necessary since most of my work is done online. In the past, I had to carry heavy heating and air conditioning equipment upstairs and onto ladders, but now all of my work is done with my fingertips. Even now I do some manual labor, but not as much as I used to when I was younger and stronger. Considering this, I think I will disinfect my gas furnace filter today since Winter will soon arrive as well and I want it disinfected and ready when it does.
