I was under the impression that heating and air conditioner systems were supposed to last for 15 to 20 years! It’s what I had heard all our life.
It’s also what I experienced quite often in our life until recently, and you see, 7 years ago, I found a job down in the southeast. I wasn’t particularally excited about the sizzling and muggy weather I would have to be subjected to, however the paycheck was calling me. Besides, I would be close to the beach, and who would not love that? I ended up purchasing a lake home that was modestly-sized however on a good piece of property. The lake home was well-took care of, but I decided to have a brand up-to-date air conditioner plan installed, because the old a single did not truly seem up to snuff… Like I said, I fully expected this up-to-date air conditioner plan to last at least 15 years. So, you can imagine our surprise when our Heating, Ventilation plus A/C serviceman told me that our air conditioner was showing signs of its age just last week! It’s tploy that I had been calling him out a couple extra times this year for a single concern or another, but I did not know that it was an indication that our air conditioner was on its way out! I proinspected the plan that it was already dying at 7 years of age, despite the fact that he explained to me that it’s different down here in the south. I had been using our air conditioner almost always, and despite the fact that I had been trying to keep it well took care of, an air conditioning may truly well simply run out of juice faster when it is in heavy use throughout the year!
