My spouse and I knew that both of us needed to get our heating and cooling system replaced, but when both of us bought this home, it came with the heating and cooling system that was already a decade old… Thankfully, it had been well-ran tests on by the previous owner.
That being said, it’s going to be 7 years since we’ve moved in soon, and the service calls that we’ve needed to location to the nearest Heating & Air Conditioning company have been more and more frequent.
The last Heating & Air Conditioning guy both of us talked to made us hesitate to go through the process of purchasing and installing a brand new heating and cooling system, though. The people I was with and I were hesitant because he informed us that our ductwork was also in extreme need of being substituted, then my spouse could attest to this. There were cold spots throughout the apartment in the Wintertide where the heat just didn’t seem to reach! Similarly, the air flow of the cooling system in the several rooms left something to be desired. The whole apparatus needed to be substituted, however it was going to cost us a pretty penny, but it was also going to take a considerable amount of time. Without needing to substitute the ductwork, an Heating & Air Conditioning system can be installed in a single afternoon, but both of us were informed that because the ductwork also needed to be substituted, it was going to take about 30 man hours, which of course meant 3 afternoons, at the least. That was a long time to go without air conditioning system! Still, my spouse and I knew it needed to be done.
