I have a foggy brain! Well, not really, But, I constantly seem to forget important things. One way I’ve tried to overcome this issue is to keep a detailed calendar on my PC. I assume having a calendar on my PC has been a lifesaver when it comes to work & my relationships. I once forgot my preferred cousin’s birthday, & she didn’t speak to me for two months. My buddy and I are the best of friends so that was an eye opener. I now not only have her birthday on my calendar, but also other special days so I don’t miss any of them. The calendar is also where I have all my notes for work, & all projects I’m working on. So far, I’ve not missed any deadlines or forgotten tasks that I have to do each day. So, imagine my shock when this past Springtime I forgot to add A/C service to my calendar. This is one of those tasks that I never want to skip knowing the heat & humidity that comes with summer. But, it completely slipped my mind, & I never had A/C service on my calendar; Come summer, I woke up one day on my off day soaking wet because my A/C was off. At first, I thought my associate and I didn’t have any electricity, but the issue was the cooling system. I had to contact an Heating & A/C corporation for same-day repair, but they could only fit me in for later in the afternoon. My house was getting warmer with every passing hour. I didn’t have a portable A/C & stayed annoyed until I had my A/C fixed.
