The technician had to call for backup

The two guys worked on the boiler issue together and fixed the problem with ease

I heard a strange noise coming from the boiler, so I contacted the commercial HVAC business that handles all of our heating and cooling needs. I didn’t want the boiler to shut down in the middle of a job. I have a good relationship with the local heating and AC business. I know the owner very well, and I get excellent service and great rates. I called the company when I heard their strange noise coming from the boiler. I spoke directly with the owner of the company. He told me that he was going to send a new technician. I asked if the new technician could handle the problem. The owner of the heating and AC repair business told me that everything would be just fine. Everything did not seem fine when the young man looked like a deer in the headlights. He honestly didn’t seem like he had any idea at all how to fix the problem. In fact, I heard the young man on the phone with another repair technician. About 30 minutes later, a second person arrived. The second technician was much older and looked like he had more experience. The two guys worked on the boiler issue together and fixed the problem with ease. After the repair was finished, the boiler was no longer making the noises. I don’t know if the young man would have been able to fix the problem on his own, but I was certainly glad that he decided to call for help instead of using my commercial boiler as a test subject.
