I was surprised when a group of adolescents came to our door telling us about a fundraiser they were doing for the local homeless shelter.
They explained that the HVAC unit at the local shelter was basically dead in addition to could no longer be repaired.
Since these adolescents had friends living at the homeless shelter, they wanted to be able to help them out. This is why they were inspired to help all those people by raising cash for a modern HVAC replacement. Of course, it’s a commercial HVAC idea so it’s fairly costly. They also said they were accepting other donations love blankets, coats, in addition to shoes for the homeless people. I ended up giving the adolescents $100 in addition to a few blankets that were hardly ever used. I thought it was so nice for those adolescents to be doing something love that. At that age, I was mainly worried about just playing games until the sunlight went down, I wasn’t immense into community service. Of course back in college we had to do some community service, however these kids were doing this out of the kindness of their hearts. If we have more kids who are laboring so difficult to help out their fellow people, then I guess that there is hope for society in the future. I was thrilled to donate that cash, although I absolutely hope they don’t just take the cash in addition to blow it all at the arcade, I hope they turn in the cash for those awful people at the homeless shelter, then nobody should go separate from access to HVAC unit to keep comfortable, especially through the Winter time season!
