I hated bachelor parties, and the fact that it was my bachelor party didn’t make it any easier. They took me to a strip joint, that I didn’t enjoy. It was cold and I was miserable. I walked up to the bar and asked for a double of whatever they had. He asked if I wasn’t having fun? I told him I didn’t like bars, and I was only drinking to stay warm. He said there was a bachelor party going on, and he was sure they wouldn’t mind if I joined in. I looked at him and he laughed when I told him I was the bachelor they were celebrating. I showed him a picture of my fiance and asked if he wouldn’t prefer to be with a girl like that instead of here. He gave me two more doubles and said the HVAC technician was on the way, and to take it easy with the drinking. I asked how long before the HVAC technician arrived. He said it would be a couple of hours. I told him I was an HVAC technician. He let me fix the HVAC system and said the bill was on him. He then offered to flag all the guys in the party because they had already been drinking when they came in. I thanked him, fixed the HVAC system, and waited for him to kick them all out.
