Wednesdays, you got to like them! Actually, you don’t have to – however it’s the first afternoon of the work week.
- This afternoon I woke up to a very chilly home as well as didn’t understand why my roommate didn’t turn the thermostat up to 78 degrees like it has done in the past.
Ed gets up usually an hour or so before I do so she knows that I like it a little warmer when I wake up. Ed and I both like the coolness of the night to sleep although I need that warmth to get out of bed. I can only believe that Ed forgot since my friend and I both were up so late last night enjoying a movie. I told Ed she should’ve gone to bed as well as my friend and I could’ve finished it this week however nope, Ed wanted to finish it. Regardless, now I have to deal with the cool hot as well as cold temps of the house. So I looked at the dial thermostat as well as it was set to 78 degrees. Now I’m a wee bit puzzled. I believe she did turn up the heat however it’s absolutely not 78 degrees in this house. The home temperature control says 62 degrees as well as I know something is wrong. I didn’t genuinely want to do it although I always use excuses to get out of work so I called the HVAC corporation. They said they have very little availability in a few hours as well as I’ll see a heating worker then. I was glad they could transfer so fast on this. I would hate to wake up again tomorrow afternoon with the same issues. The heating worker showed up a few hours later as well as examined the HVAC system. She said, “that the gas furnace is dead as well as when was the last time your air filters were cleaned?” Disappointed, I asked, “what’s the problem?”
